Photo Album: Angle door installed on a newly poured foundation in Newtown Square, PA
This home in Newtown Square had a cellar door that was in need of not just replacing, but also needed to have masonry repairs to the foundation. As you can see, the old foundation the cellar door was sitting on was cracked and falling apart. We sent out one of our Sales Representatives to take measurements so we could manufacture a new angle cellar door. We used those measurements to fabricate a custom size cellar door in the plant in King of Prussia. Since there was concrete work to be done to the foundation, this installation was over a few days. The first day, our experienced crew went out to do the demo of the old cellar door and foundation. The next day, we went back out to pour the concrete into the forms for the new foundation, and finally a few days later, we went back out and installed the custom angle cellar door on top of the newly poured foundation. Now this home in Newtown Square has a safe and reliable basement entrance!
