Steelway Cellar Doors installed a basement egress window in a stone foundation in Plymouth Meeting, PA. The egress window was installed in place of the standard basement window. This provides additional safety for the homeowner as it also serves as an emergency exit.

Outlining the window size

One of the first steps of installing an egress window is to outline the proposed window size to get a better idea of the placement. In this case, there was an existing basement window so the placement was staying the same, but the window size would be larger.
