Steel unit replaced with Concrete in Perkiomenville, PA

In Perkiomenville, this homeowner reached out to Steelway because he wanted to replace his rusty old steel basement cellar entrance. One of our sales representatives went out to get measurements and assess the area. After discussing with one of our experienced installers, it was determined that we could replace the old rusty steel unit with a concrete unit instead. On the day of installation, one of the experienced crews dug out the old steel unit, and installed the new precast concrete stairs with a steel top. The homeowner now has to put his patio back together, but at least his new basement egress looks great and will last him for many years to come!

Changing from a Steel unit to a concrete unit in Maple Glen, PA!

This old steel unit had seen better days in Maple Glen, PA, so the home owner called Steelway.  Our crew removed the old steel unit and excavated for the new concrete unit install.  We had to remove a porion of the floor drain to facilitate attachment of the new precast concrete unit.  We then sealed the cold joint, cut, removed drywall and paneling, attached the new 68" concrete unit, and regrade around the area to achieve the proper height.  Nothing our crew at Steelway can't handle for Maple Glen residents!

Dug out old Steel unit in Abington, PA

In Abington, this homeowner was tired of his old steel stair unit leaking every time it rained, so they reached out to Steelway. One of the sales representatives went out to assess the current unit. After coming back to the office and discussing the options with the installers, it was determined that a concrete unit could be used to replace the old leaky steel unit. On the day of installation, one of the crews removed this leaky steel unit (look how much water is on the steps just for a light rain!) and installed precast concrete stairs with a galvanized steel top. No more leaky unit for this homeowner!
